Every so often lululemon comes out with THE BEST summer pant, and I always kick myself for not buying a backup pair, or multiple colors. This year that pant is a Palazzo Pant style, and they are divine. The Metropolis Maven High Rise Crop are what I will be living in this summer. The Metropolis Crop are the step up from ‘the year of wearing loungewear’ you need. Comfortable and as light as sweatpants, stylish enough for patio dining or for work.

I’m so glad I ordered two pairs with yesterdays upload. I ordered Iron Blue, and black, and today I picked up the grey sage in store. These are my TTS for pants and they are such a comfortable fit around the waist, despite the fitted high rise waist. I wondered last night if the waist would fit too snug for such a high rise since it looks pretty form fitting on the model. I debated ordering a size up but opted to go TTS. They are comfortable straight away but I can also tell from the material that they will really relax in the hips quickly.
The material in these pants are the best part. It’s a very soft twill cupro-modal blend. They feel silky and have a really nice drape and flow. I believe lululemon made a pair of crops last year with this material but they didn’t work out for me as well because they were a long sweat pant.
These pants are going to look so great with a variety of different shoes, and tops. It’s just such a classy, versatile summer pant.
For those of you that are tall, these will come up higher on your leg. I’m 5’4 and have short legs so they hit me in the perfect spot. Any longer than this with wide leg pants and I look like I have stumps for legs. The inseam is approximately 24″, but that was crudely gathered with a paper measuring tape.
I can’t wait to wear these and I really recommend them if you are needing some cute casual summer pants.
