What’s Good In This Lululemon Upload
Too many goodies today! I have been waiting for several weeks for the Wide Leg Align Crops to come and finally they are here! Those where my first items ordered today. Last week I got this Love Tee Fade in Sublimado Navy and it’s my all-time favourite Love Tee. My second order (only because it popped up later) are the Soft Ambitions High Rise Shorts. I know they are pricey but if you are curvy/petite and you struggle not only with shorts fitting well, but looking proportionately good, you know that good shorts are good shorts. It’s worth it to me to have a pair of shorts I feel good in. I’ll do a fit review once my order arrives later this week.
The Ease Of It All Dress has a few things going for it in my books. First off, it’s modal. Modal in a flowy cut has such pretty drape and it’s so soft. Second, It’s a loose fit and not body con. Lululemon has done so many body con dresses over the past few years and they just don’t work for me. Finally, it comes in Carnation Red which I love. There have been so few items in Carnation. I’m hoping we see a Love Tee eventually. I can’t wait to try this one on.
The Seek Vistas 1/2 Zip Jacket is also really pretty. I love the zipped collar and neckline. I have the Roksanda 1/2 Zip which has a similar neckline and overall aesthetic so I’m not going to buy this one, but I really like it a lot.

Those shorts are super cute! I immediately went to the website to order, but then my eyes popped out of my head at the price!!! With taxes it will be $84 for a pair of shorts. I know, they are modal, but…whoa!! I’m sure they will sell out, but I just can’t get with some of the new prices. Bummer.

I’ll be interested to see what you think about the shorts you ordered. If they are really flattering and in constant use they are worth the money. I bought a pair of the Inner Glow shorts recently and kept them even though I didn’t love them. They fit and are comfortable, but they flare out in the back which isn’t the most flattering look on me. I regret not returning them. Lesson learned…
I considered the inner glow shorts when they came out but worried about that flare in the back. My booty pops out too much so flares like that get really exaggerated and the shorts become indecently ‘open’. I’ve been living in my black high rise/long hot hotty shorts and track that shorts, and my only other pair are my button up Levis so I’ll be happy if these work out. I’ll try and get a fit review up when they arrive.
I hear you on the return regrets. I think we will see a lot of good lululemon up for resale that didn’t get returned during covid closures.
I ordered the wide leg aligns, but in my usual size rather than the size down that I take in align crops. I want them to be loose. They look comfortable for working from home, which I expect to be doing for some time. If they’re flattering I hope they come out in colours other than rustic coral. I’m pretty mystified by the number of styles of pants that are available in that colour and I see it going on mark-down across the board. I could be wrong, but it just doesn’t seem like something that will have enduring appeal.
