Fit Report: Run: Catch Me Tank Bordeaux Drama

by Cristina

I’ve been wanting the Run: Catch Me Tank in several colorways already and ended up returning the Power Purple version for one reason or another and by the time I decided I needed the Angel Blue Tonka Stripe one it was sold out online and at both nearby stores. Yesterday I received Bordeaux Drama from my Monday night order and I fell in love with the color in luxtreme instantly, especially sine the bust has subtle Tonka Stripes. Sadly, I was having a bloaty day though and was wearing jeans when I tried it on so my initial gut reaction was ‘on no! this must go back! I’ll never wear this’. That irked me because I love the look of it and love luxtreme Bordeaux Drama. Anyways, today right before Crossfit I decided to try in on with my Ebb and Flow Crops and I decided I loved it again (with non muffin top inducing pants) so I took the tags off and wore it to Crossfit. I also adjusted the bust band and the straps so it’s much looser and now I don’t have my bra fat spilling out of the back. With the straps looser the support is lesser but it’s pretty much on par with the Power Y, perhaps a bit better. I’m not large busted so it’s not really a huge issue for me unless I’m running 3 or more miles or doing Double Unders. Today was ‘Helen’ with headstands for warmups and overhead squats for tech work and the tank held up really well. The grippies at the bottom of the hem helped keep my tank from flipping up over my head in handstands. I really like this tank a lot for crossfit since it’s slightly looser in the tummy and handles sweat really well. I’m probably not going to get a second one full price but I’ll most definitely keep an eye out for Power Purple and Angel Blue Tonka Stripe on the selling pages and on ebay.
