I got a chance to feel these Swiftly Shorts and I noticed that they are very soft, softer than the swiftly tanks. I also noticed that they were thicker like the mens Metal Vent Tech T’s so it is a more substantial swiftly material than I had originally thought – do the men’s tech t’s have issues with snagging? I still wouldn’t wear these and I think that they are best saved for the very fit and very firm bodies…but if you don’t have my hangups than by all means wear these. I also noticed that the liner short on the inside is made of swiftly as well and is more like underwear than inner shorts. The pocket is probably meant for something very light weight like a single key and not your whole key ring full of keys, otherwise the pocket would probably get stretched and hang out at the bottom of the pant leg. look at the seam on the waistband of these shorts. The logo doesn’t match up at the seams. That’s a pet peeve of mine and would drive me totally bonkers. Now I’m going to have to check and see if all of the shorts that have this type of waist band has the same issue or if this one was a mistake. Couldn’t they have matched that up a bit better?? Considering it is a logo that is visible all the way around. Kinda sloppy.
I love this and can’t wait to get mine in the mail. I ordered it in Alarm. I love my black regular width one but I only use it with my hair tide up because otherwise the width makes my hair poof out. This one has such potential for me. I kinda wish it didn’t have that logo in the front part though, in the back would be find but I hate to have a logo smacked right above my forehead. Oh well, at least it’s small and pretty subtle.

This is a front view of the T which shows how flattering it is on someone curvy with the color blocking. If you don’t mind the more sporty look than this is a nice T. My preference is the single colored ones and the V neck but I like that the crew neck is about the same neck as the 5yr Pimas and not too high.

I’m pleased to tell you that I ended up going back to the store and I purchased the Free to Be Bra in black. A funny thing that happened though was that earlier in our trip when I went in to try the Free to Be on I had decided not to buy it because I wanted it in white. Half way down the block from the store I noticed that my two year old had shoved it into the basket of the buggy, so I had to run back to the store to give it back to them. She’s done this before at the Coquitlam store where she grabbed a hand full of panties and stuck them in the basket, only to be discovered when the alarms went of in store. Anyways, later we went back with my sisters and I tried it on again and decided I loved it.
So my at home try on report is that this is way more comfortable than the Flow Y, however I can run in the Flow Y and I can’t run in the Free to Be. You can see the straps with the CRB but it actually looks really good and accentuates the CRB (pictures will be posted later). I decided to get the black because I already have a basic white Flow Y but no black ones. I wore it with my Pig Pink CRB and I got compliments on both the pink and the straps of the Free to Be by both my sister’s in law and my mother in law. My one sister in law went back to pick up a pair of the Dance Studio Pants in Coal and I returned mine for black…but I now want my Coal ones back so I may return them when I’m back in town. My mother in law now also wants a pair of Dance Studio Pants (she got some Still Shorts) how cool is she??

These do look really comfortable but there are so many issues with it. First of all I’m thinking this is a treadmill running pant. I haven’t had issues with any of my Swiftly’s snagging and I don’t baby them at all but most people have had issues with this fabric snagging, pilling and getting pulls. Also, I’m thinking these would show every dimple on your butt. I’ve also been told that these have a major flattening effect on the tukish so not flattering on unless your super skinny but also have a round firm bum. If these end up in markdown I would probably get them to sleep in.

I didn’t love the look of the Modern Crew neck with the color blocking. I think the one that was least appealing was the heathered clarity grey with light grey panels. The one I thought was the nicest was the Citron one with light grey panels. I think the panels really accentuate and create a narrow waist so I get why they did it but for me it’s just too sporty. I think I would have liked it in all one color but with contrast stitching at the panels.
