Is This Poncho Stripe Scuba?

by Cristina October 28, 2010
written by Cristina

This is a new print that’s popped up on FB thanks to an Australian Product Notification…I like this version of poncho print in more subdued colors.

This one is called ‘MUPS’ just like the Wish Blue/MUPS Stride we saw last week with poncho stripe print.

Upload Thursday Eve Musings

by Cristina October 28, 2010
written by Cristina

Well, I think the only thing on my wish list is a Heathered Wish blue Running Luon Pullover or LS, a fleece pullover of some sort and a Gratitude Wrap. I would also like another pair of Brushed Luon pants eventually but that doesn’t feel like an emergency need since I don’t know what I would like to see in that. Maybe Wunder Under Pants or another pair of Relaxed Fit Pants would be nice. I would like to try on the Plum Dash LS in store to see if it’s love worthy but although I like Plum it’s not one of my top favourites so I need to try it on rather then order online. I’ve had some really great luck on exchange/ebay lately and I’ve managed to knock out most of my ‘one that got away’ favourites for really decent prices. I feel greedy. I seem to always find these gems on disappointing (for me) upload Thursdays. So…I hope I find a Heathered Fox Gratitude Wrap (or Heathered Mudd close second) on ebay tomorrow.

What are you guys planning on buying? And what great exchange/ebay finds have you scored?

And some Pictures of the new stuff to refresh your memories tomorrow morning.

Love these gloves but so not the price on them ($48)

New Website Picture

by Cristina October 27, 2010
written by Cristina

Some new pictures popped up on Lululemon.com tonight and I really love them. It’s the same pose as always so it’s not anymore helpful to exclusively online shoppers but the headless model pictures always irked me and I found them a little creepy. I didn’t see a reason why those pictures needed to be headless and found it more distracting to not see a face included in the shot because I was always wondering why she was missing. I like a little bit of personality in the pictures.

What do you guys think of the new picture?

Night Running

by Cristina October 27, 2010
written by Cristina

It’s been so hard keeping my motivation up to run these last few weeks as my babysitting hasn’t been available during the day anymore and my husband has been coming home after dark. On good days it’s been pouring rain which doesn’t make a run very enticing when your already dragging your feet around and hate using the dreadmill. So it’s been quite tough keeping up with my 7ishkm runs on a regular basis. Last week I decided to split my runs up a bit more and do 2 longer runs during daylight hours and 2-3 short night time weekday runs instead of always pushing myself to do all longer runs all the time. Today was my first run of the week after having taken a bit of a hiatis. I managed to run a very pleasant (slow) uphill/flat run for 50 minutes and it was quite enjoyable. It was 10* out tonight and clear so I wore my Inspire Pullover (lilac)  over a Cool Racerback (Pig Pink) and my Inspire Crops (Black/Lolo). Since I find the reflective features on most Lululemon items not nearly enough (especially compared to other night runners) for nightime running I have purchased some reflective snap bracelets that I can wear around my ankles or wrists. I wore them around my ankles but once I hit the shower after my run I realized what a bad place that was to wear them since I felt a burning sting when the water hit me were they caused major chafing. Other then that my run was exactly what I needed it to be in order to recharge and refocus my running for the coming cold and dark evening runs. Running at night was not so bad tonight because I kept to very well lit areas with heavy traffic and just ran extra loops at the end when I needed to run the clock. I felt much more at ease in the dark tonight for some reason. Also, it was quite pretty to see all of the houses in my area decorated for Halloween with spooky things and bright orange lights. I think I just need to rethink my hangup of night running and appreciate the different things I get to see on these evening runs that I would never normally get to see during the day.

*sorry, couldn’t find a night running picture as nice as this day time one.

Lulu Lab

by Cristina October 27, 2010
written by Cristina

I’m not a huge blazer person, especially now a days, but I really like this one from the Lab made out of organic cotton. I’ve seen quite a few cotton/jersey blazers in stores over the past month so I guess thats in which is good because I would only wear one casually if it’s super comfortable. I like the look of a blazer matched with a casual tee underneath.

This one is called The Riding Jacket – $149

Run: Dash SS

by Cristina October 26, 2010
written by Cristina

Not sure what color this is. Looks like a very pale blue (Haze?) but it’s hard to tell. It may very well be lilac.

**Note: Is this in fact a SS version of the Dash Pullover or is this the LS with arm warmers layered over top? Running luon is so warm I’m not sure why you would wear arm warmers.

Cute Pictures..

by Cristina October 26, 2010
written by Cristina

Nothing really new in these pictures but I love that this educator modelled clothes for the albums. These are adorable. If your pregnant and thinking of getting some Lulu items you should know that all of my maternity lulu items have snapped right back to shape after. Sadly I had never thought to get a Stride at that time but I would have loved it. I don’t know how I would have recovered properly from my unfortunate c-section if I had not had my still pants.

Adorable Stride zipped open from the bottom up with a Cool Racerback underneath.

Swiftly LS. very light and breathable for those hot flashes in the 3rd trimester.
Cool Racerback and Express Yourself Wrap. The Cool Racerback tanks provide full tummy coverage right till the end.
Modern Crewneck and Still pants. Still Pants are a must for pregnancy. Forget about those stupid jeans with tummy panels.

Fruity Tooty is Back!!

by Cristina October 26, 2010
written by Cristina

spotted some new Scubas in Fruity-Tooty/Silver. I have a Gratitude Wrap in Heathered Fruity-Tooty and I love the color on me. Fruity-Tooty is quite similar to Senorita Pink but with a touch more warmth and coral in it. I laid both colored scubas next to each other and they’re so close to one another that unless you have them right next to each other you wouldn’t be able to really tell unless you have a super sharp eye for color. Other than this there was nothing new in store since yesterday. I made a point to look for brushed luon pants and they didn’t have any in store just yet.
