This is a pretty good shot of the newest Heathered Dewberry Define Jacket that just came out. This one is just sooo pretty. I wonder if there will be a Heathered Royal Define like the Heathered Royal Stride Jacket? I can’t seem to remember if lulu usually makes the same colorway Defines and Strides/In Strides. Also, I sort of wish both of these jackets were made of the same Pearl Luxtreme as the Cool Racerback Tanks. I didn’t love the Static Wish CRB when it was out yet in the winter yet  I’m really drawn to the pearl luxtreme royal which is pretty similar to that CRB with the exception of the sparkle and it being low maintenance luxtreme vs. luon. Hmmmm, maybe a Pearl Luxtreme Define Jacket would be too flashy.

Heathered Royal Stride Jacket

Not too much new in store today but some very pretty pretties. I grabbed myself the Heathered Royal CRB tank and I think these picture really show off the shimmer the new Pearl Luxtreme Cool Racerback Tanks have. I also couldn’t resist this new Free to Be Bra in Magnum since I love the black one I got last year. I was thinking of getting white since I’m pretty boring with my sports bras and always go for white and black so that it matches everything but I saw this gorgeous neutral and couldn’t resist. I just wish the Free To Be had enough support for me to use it as a running bra. But it’s pretty perfect as a casual summer bra to wear under CRB’s/  I think it will look really pretty under this Royal CRB and will also look great under my Pigeon CRB.

The store also got in a Heathered Royal Stride Jacket and Heathered Magnum, The Breezy Bow Tee (all black or grey/black) and Heathered Dewberry Pearl Luxtreme CRB. I also saw some new Swiftly LS’s in Dewberry and Swiftly SS in Citron and Dewberry.

Free To Be Bra Magnum

Well I had the impulse decision today to return the Run: Weightless Singlet I got the other day. I really do love this tank for a lot of reasons but in the end, I was about to take the tags off to wear it out for a run and I decided that I didn’t love that the top panel of fabric in the back (where all the pretty laser cut design is) was not stretchy enough for running. The size up in a 10 was too large and billowy on me and caused puckering at the upper bust and the size 8 looked pretty and not too baggy in the tummy but the lack of stretch in the stiffer part of the fabric was going to be even more irritating once I actually used it for running with constant arm motion.

I will for sure reconsider this tank again if it comes up on markdown since the function of it is amazing. The overall fabric feels like your wearing a silk blouse and the laser cut detailing is really pretty (although be aware that you may get a lulu logo sun tattoo from it…I personally charge for ad space on my body) but I just couldn’t bite the bullet and tear the tags off of it. I actually exchanged this for the newest Pearl Luxtreme Cool Racerback Tank Heathered Pigeon and had tear the tags off lust when I got home. I think I’ll probably also get the Royal one when it comes out too.

Sorry I couldn’t provide you with an actual post run fit review on this tank but the lovely girls at Coquitlam Lululemon told me they just love this tank for sweating in and it would be perfect for hot yoga.

Someone on Lulu This Just In posted a sighting of new Studio Crops with color code MAG (Magnum?) and she describes them as light purple. I wasn’t planning on getting any studio pants or crops this year (especially not crops with the summer where having in BC) but a light purple sounds tempting.

Well this is kind of cute. I’m not sure what the rest of this tee looks like but I’m intrigued by the back.

I’m hoping I get my Run Weightless Singlet I ordered this morning sometime tomorrow so that I can take it out for a run and get you a report on how it feels while sweating. My initial feeling of the fabric in store was that it felt a bit like a cross between latex and tencil and felt odd but it did feel really light weight so I’m intrigued enough to bite the bullet and give it a try. Breathable and lightweight are two different things and I suspect this doesn’t have a ton of breathability based on how much sweat it can absorb. Here you see an image of just how much sweat accumulates in the fabric. I’m not really bothered by how much sweat shows because…well I plan on sweating buckets anyways. The only time I really worry about sweat showing is if I’m in a class and it’s sweat marks in areas down yonder. 

I am officially lusting after this new Luxtreme Pullover now in Australia like I haven’t lusted for anything in quite a while. My last lust item was the Sing Floss Travel Jacket in Heathered Navy and I don’t remember what else before that. The only thing that would make this pullover just a little more perfect is if it was running luon since I prefer it to luxtreme in pullovers. But this Royalty Run: For Your Life Pullover will be mine..mwa-ha-ha!

Well I’d say this was a pretty fantastic upload, no? I ended up ordering the Run: Weightless Singlet in Citron and I think I’ll pick up the Pearl Luxtreme CRB next time I’m in the store or perhaps wait for another color run in it. I did really like the Heathered Pigeon on me and I loved the feel of the CRB but I think I want something darker. I love my CRB’s but I’m not much a collector of them as I just have 4 at the moment.

Oops, I just realized the Method Wraps were not uploaded today. Big bummer for those of you waiting for it.

We’ve seen this color on an item before as a secondary detail color (can’t remember what) but the color is so pretty. I’d love to see this in a Sing Floss Travel Jacket or a Cool Racerback Tank in Pearl Luxtreme.

I really love the design of it though and would love to try it out.
