Run: Chase Me Skirt and Run: Chase Me Crops

Wow! Were finally starting to see some Spring running items. Seems like it took longer to come out this year. I’m kinda loving the Chase Me Crops even though they are quite busy. They are finally a non black running crop (accidentally Pig Pink tights doesn’t count) and it almost looks like the Denim Slub Wunder Unders. Definitely giving these ones a try. I love the contrast detailing that curves over the lower calf. Apparently the skirt is also made of Power Luxtreme? Definitely interested to check that out since it will be way stretchier then swift.

According to an Australian Product Alert that was just sent out, Australia will soon be seeing a Lolo and Ivory No Limit Tank. Hopefully North America will get this one soon too. I’m not too fond of the No Limit Tank and how it looks on me but this color combo sounds lovely.

There was one lonely Apres Practice Anorak in store today which was an ecomm return so I got a chance to check it out but not try it on. It’s swiftly material just like the Dance Studio Jacket and has the same faint line pattern of all the swiftly items. The inside torso is lined with luon but the arms are unlined and the jacket is not water resistant at all. I’m a huge fan of the Apres Run Anorak (especially for the price) so in comparison I just didn’t love this jacket, especially since it isn’t water resistant which in my opinion is implied when you have a trench style design or you name it an ‘anorak’. However, I do think the fit of this jacket is really pretty on Julie who provided these photos. She loves this jacket over the Arpes Run Anorak and it just depends on what type of water repelling/resistance your climate requires. Vancouver? This jacket wouldn’t stand a chance for about 80-90% of the year. Perfect for dry Spring days or cooler summer days. It’s got a lot of really feminine details on it which are quite cute and make it a bit less casual then the Apres Run Anorak. The Apres Run Anorak also has a touch of masculine military detailing on it with both the cut and seam details so it really comes down to your style preference and weather needs.  Julie sized down from her Scuba Hoodie/Cool Racerback  size and chose the size 4 and as you can tell it fits quite perfectly. 

I was in at my Store this afternoon and they were just unpacking the newest Expression Tee’s that I posted about earlier today. I didn’t get a chance to try them on since they were literally just being put out but they are priced at $68 and are a Tencil Silk Jersey blend. Feels like a silky, crinkly, see thru cotton and comes in Black and Aquamarine. Not something I’m tempted in at all but I would LOVE to see a Cabin LS Tee in Aquamarine with an Indigo reverse side. Please Lulu, no more reverse to grey. White would even be fine, just no more grey. The Aquamarine Yin Me Pullover was mostly sold out with just two size 10’s left.

Eeesh, I am not liking this tee. Something about the seams in the back and how crinkly and sheer it is.

I had a chance this afternoon to check out some of the latest since I needed to get the size up in the Transition Wrap in exchange for the one I got yesterday. Picked that up and also found a Plum Cross My Heart Bra and it followed me home and now that I’ve tried it on at home I don’t know why I didn’t realize how awesome this bra is before. Now I feel like I need the Black Swan one too. Anyways, I digress, the Aquamarine Cool Racerback was surprisingly soft and stretchy. It sort of reminded me of the heathered Tree Frog CRB but perhaps even softer. Like really stretchy running luon. The only problem with it is that it’s so light and thin that it may be a bit sheer so I passed on it for now. Wouldn’t Aquamarine look just awesome over plum though??  The Inkblot CRB on the other hand was just as suspected with 94% polyester. It feels similar to the Camo one but not as plastic-y as the Nesting Bird or Unicorn Tears version. No Every Yoga Tank today or Apres Practice Anorak. 

 My store doesn’t have all of the latest items we’ve seen come out. They are missing this Quiet Stripe In Stride Jacket as well as the Wunder Unders. They didn’t get the Ebb and Flow Crops, no Bang Buster headband… a few other things I can’t remember.

 This is such a gorgeous Swiftly Tech LS. I’m tempted by it and have been in need of a Swiftly Tech LS but can’t seem to settle on one. I really hope we see a LS in the Inkblot color because I think I would jump on that one.
