Nothing for me tonight but I am interested in the Savasana Socks. I love wooly socks, but these are a bit pricier now than past years. If I get them I’d like to get them at my usual store since I usually order online – and since it’s just socks I don’t feel like I’m missing out on any grand item. I hate that because I’d much rather give my usual store the sale but everything for the past two quarters has been debuting online before my store gets to unpack it – this means online orders and in store returns. 

Anything for you guys tonight??? I still have yet to see the Devotion Short Sleeve Tee in person or in photos and that is another item I’m interested in but kinda want to see first. Ah well, maybe my store will have one in tomorrow that I can try on.

From an Australian product alert, two new ‘Wee Are From Space’ Prints in Limitless Blue and Love Red. I love both of these prints and am lusting over the possibility of Cool Racerbacks in this. Although we never did see the May Wee Are From Space in a CRB unfortunately, but I do love my April one and would love a blue and a red version.

It’s hard to see but the Rose Herringbone Define Jacket on the right has some Alberta Lake detailing on the zippers and throughout the herringbone print. I like the black one I got last week slightly better than this one since it seems to have more contrast. I may have liked a Polar Cream Rose Herringbone version though. 

I’m pretty sure this is the jacket we saw a sneak peek of last week in Wren on the banner. I’m just trying to find that picture and I will add that in.

I was just in my store for a quick tour and they had the Raspberry Glow Swiftly Tech LS, I think a short sleeve version as well. They also had some new Gaitors for $48 (possibly $58?) and those looked pretty cool and useful. They are made to pull on over your runners and they zip up, seam sealed and reflective and cinch up at the high calf. New run pants, the Run: Clear As Mud Pants where in in Alberta Lake. Those looked really cool! No new CRB’s today (hoping for Alberta Lake) and no Devotion Tee SS. They also didn’t have this new brushed Polar Cream Define Jacket in yet. 

I think we can probably expect this new pullover in the upload tonight, as well as the Tender Violet Run: Turn Around Jacket. Perhaps a new color in the Devotion Tee SS since we only got grey last week, probably the Please Me Pullover. I think this will be a pretty small and minor upload but there will probably be a few items. Next week is the start of November product upload so I’m not surprised this week is a little dull. I’d love an Alberta Lake Cool Racerback though, that I would pounce on.

I saw this Please Me Pullover today in store and although I didn’t try it on (the cropped pullovers are not at all my style), the color was beautiful and the material was super soft and cozy.  Fuzzy on the inside though so lookout for shedding when you try it on.

Well, I did not expect to fall in love with this jacket but I really, really love it. The color is amazing in this fabric. I’m a bit torn though on fit. This is my TTS 10 and fits very comfortably in the arms/shoulders and torso, even over a hoodie, but I think its a bit short on me and slightly snug around my hips so I definitely want to try on a size up to see if that corrects that fit issue without making the top half big. I’ve heard mix reviews on the fit of this jacket and I think if you are bustier or have muscular arms you may have fit issue with the top half and not the hem, if you are bottom curvy like me you may have fit issues around the hips. 

Also, I’m kind of surprised this is 650-Fill count. It doesn’t feel super warm, it feels light as a feather (pun intended). I think for running purposes it is the right amount of insulating without becoming unbearably warm. For outdoor casual purposes though I wonder if it will provide enough warmth. I’m going to pick up my running again in the next few weeks (now that I have outdoor winter running gear I’ve been motivated) so it will definitely get use that way but I wonder about casual wear usage which is what I’m wanting it for. I’m expecting this to be an especially cold winter in Vancouver so I’d like to have something a bit warmer than just a rain coat.  

I tried this on over an Every Yogi LS, Every Yogi LS with Carry and Go Hoodie, and Every Yogi LS under a Define and the jacket is comfortable over all of those different combinations. I also tried it on under my Right As Rain Jacket (with a hoodie on underneath) and it was quite comfortable having both layered underneath. This jacket is seriously thin and compact. Something to consider if you absolutely hate the 3X A Lady Jacket but where hoping to get this years version of the Apres Piste/Apex/Podium Jacket. 

What do you guys think?? Is it worth sizing up for to get a better length and fit around the hips? Do you already have this jacket and have worn it casually in a cold climate??
