Run: Mile A Minute Tank in Beach Blanket Blue

I was really surprised I liked this tank when I tried it on today. It has a really retro look to it, especially in the Beach Blanket Blue with Aquamarine Contrasting colorway. This is size 10 on me and the bottom half of the tank is pretty loose fitting, more so than a size 10 CRB. The bra portion fits quite similar to a Power Y though and I don’t think I’d size down to an 8 in this one -but I’d probably have to if I wanted it for running. Its hard to tell how supportive it was since I was wearing an Energy Bra underneath.  I really liked the looser drape around the middle though, and the color.  Sorry I didn’t grab a price or better fit details on this one but I had just come from Crossfit and I didn’t have much time at the store. I made a quick stop only because I’d heard the Very Green Energy Bra and V-Neck Swiftly was in. Anyways, I’m calling this one TTS with a looser fit around the middle.

The bra didn’t actually fit tight at my shoulder blades here despite how it looks, but I think my Energy Bra had rolled a bit and the built in bra in this tank wasn’t adjusted properly. I’ll probably try this on again on Monday morning and give you a better fit review for the purpose of ordering online Monday night.

This tank…I meant to try it on but I really didn’t care for the look of it so I just didn’t. It’s a weird tank and pricey at $58.

The other two Swiftly V-Necks that where in today (thanks to Tracy for the picture). I picked up the Very Green one and this is Pinkalicious with a woven in knit stripe, and Beach Blanket Blue with no woven pattern.

New in store! Pinkalicious Energy Bra, Very Green Energy Bra and Swiftly V Necks, and Color Comparison Between Pinkalicious and Raspberry Glow

by Cristina March 30, 2013

I picked up a couple of EnergyBras today, Pinkalicious and Very Green. Here is the Pinkalicious Energy Bra over Raspberry Glow CRB. Raspberry is brighter while Pinkalicious looks a touch washed out next to it. I do like Pinkalicious though, it’s like a brighter coral pink, or much more vivid and intense Bleached Coral. If there is a solid Pinkalicious CRB I think I’d rather get that and sell my NWT Raspberry Glow CRB. I don’t need both. Too bad we aren’t seeing as many shades of green as we’ve seen shades of pink and orange.

V Neck Swiftly in Very Green, Pinkalicious and Beach Blanket Blue

The blue Swiftly V-Neck was solid while both the pink and green had this woven line pattern which I really like. The different weave made it much stretchier and soft, especially compared to last years  v neck Swiftlies. I opted to go with size 10 on this one even though I’ve moved to size 8 CRB’s and Bras. I just don’t like such a thin material clinging to my mid section.

Energy Bras, Very Green and Pinkalicious

I’ll have more pictures tonight of a couple of new tanks. The Run: Mile A Minute Tank and, Open Soul Tank.

I love this set of pictures my nearest store took because they are pretty much in my own lovely back yard, plus the Boston Terrier looks almost identical to my own dog Lucy, right down to the brindle coloring.

Run From Work Backpack

I’m finding this Run From Work Backpack really cute, and I’m considering exchanging my Swiftly LS for it depending on the price. We do a lot of family bike rides in the summer, and lots of trips to the park, so this may be useful for me.

Upload.

Seriously? Not a thing in Very Green? Such a bummer of an upload for me. Anything catch your eye tonight?

Frangiapani Parfait Pink is kind of a cute print. I’d be excited about a Cool Racerback in this print except that I know it will be a polyester Cool Racerback and not a luon Cool Racerback.

Picture of the Twist & Shout Scarf shows what I think is the Run: Turn It Up Tee in Very Green.

Sneak peek at a new Swiftly. Beach Blanket Blue and Moon Beam?

Pinkelicious Scuba

A grey lightweight hoodie? Probably the Throw Me Over Hoodie which has not had very good reviews so far.

Product Drop Monday!

Not much new in store today at all! Saw some new Rejuvenate Pullovers (dune and mellow lemon), the new Heat It up Bra…and pretty much that was all. Getting seriously bummed out in the lack of Very Green items out. 3 year wait for green to make a comeback and when it does there are virtually no basic items in that color. I JUST want a solid Very Green Cool Racerback!!!!
