Wow! start of a new month and still pretty light on the product drops. This year is so different from last year around this time. Nothing for me today 🙁 and I returned the Off The Mat Jacket I picked up last week. I may order it at a later point but I just wasn’t 100% convinced that I’d get a lot of use out of it, and I wish they’d reduced some of the neck bulk this time around. Sad because it’s really the only fleece we’ve seen from Lulu this winter. What did you guys order tonight? The Run: Speedy Turtleneck looks cute. I was looking forward to a Beaming Blue CRB, or a Laceoflage CRB, or those darn Ebb and Flows out in Australia right now – maybe Thursday. I just wish they’d leave the upload to one day per week if they are going to have such small uploads. One fuller upload is much better.
So glad the Scoop Neck is back! I love it in this print so I may pick one up on tonights upload.

Just a word on the name of this jacket. We don’t know if Lululemon was referring to draft dodging during the Vietnam war. But if they did, and now that its a topic on our minds, please understand that ‘draft dodging’ means something very different to Canadians than it does to Americans. It is a very important and respected part of our history. It is acknowledged much the same way we hold Remembrance day solemn and sacred. My parents came to Canada during the 70’s, when our home country strictly enforced conscription, during the vietnam war. I respect people and their families that serve their countries greatly, as I respect people who choose not to serve because of their beliefs.

The last two pictures I’ve seen of this swiftly it looks quite orange, but I think it’s quite a bit lighter than this in real life and more buttery. I may be wrong though. I’m definitely wanting it either way though.
Artist Jennifer Daniel (Graphics Director at Bloomberg Business Week) created the image on the right two years ago and licenced her image as wallpaper and to bike shops for use. When I first saw this Purist Cycling Water Bottle pop up online I thought the image looked quite familiar but I couldn’t tell you where I’ve seen it before, only that the image was familiar. I came across this blog post ‘Lululemon Stole My Work Claims Artist Jennifer Daniel‘ on Papermag Blog (please read their post for the rundown) and realized that the image had been licensed for use many times before and had been created by somebody other than Lululemon Athletica. I can imagine how frustrating this must be for the artist who probably would like to be paid and acknowledged for her image, particularly when used by a giant athletic apparel corporation like Lululemon. And especially since lululemon waged legal war (and settled) against Calvin Klein for allegedly copying their designs.
I love the name of this new Draft Dodger Jacket made out of softshell and tech fleece. I also really like the lace pattern up the arms.
I am lusting after this color something bad. I can’t wait for it to come to Canada and the US.
Sorry for the mistype last night. I called the Run: U-Turn Pullover the Run: Turn Around and confused a lot of you. No sign of a Turn Around Pullover this year sadly. I missed out last year and would have gotten one this year.
