I went to Metrotown today to see if I could score the Black Cherry Cool Racerback (I did!) and they had this new jacket in today called the Savasana Jacket. Unfortunately, if you are like me and have the limbs of a corgi, this jacket is not for you. It comes in small and medium which usually indicates the fit is going to be quite oversized. It was. This is the medium on me and it felt huge in the chest and arms and so unflattering. If you are long and lean you will probably pull this look off beautifully but for me this was a definite pass. The price is $148.
**if you are going to metro for the Black Cherry CRB, I believe they had a size 12 and a size 8 left and that was it. It was very picked over already. I suggest calling first and putting one on hold if you can before making the trip there or calling other stores to see if they got it in. I think it may have been a select Canadian stores limited release for now.
The CRB is gorgeous but it is not overly thick. I’d say its about the same as the Red Earth CRB or Bumbleberry but not thick like Bali Breeze was. It is opaque though thankfully so definitely worth getting. The interesting thing is it is made in Indonesia while the High Times Pants in the same color (and the Deep Camo) are made in Canada.
Britt’s Picks are up! Except now I’m not sure if I should call them Katelin’s Picks since Britt has passed it on to her. I am SO mad that Canada isn’t getting the Black Cherry Cool Racerback Tank. Reading now that is is in select Canadian stores today. I need it so bad. I’m toying with ordering it through a US friend but the exchange rate is really making that an unappealing option so I’m not sure what I’ll do.
I stopped in at my closest store today (Coquitlam) and they had in a full run of Resolution Hobos in both Alberta Lake and Atomic Flower. They also finally got in the Menthol Free To Be Wild Bras, and a few other older bras from Christmas that they never got (Pigment Herringbone 50 Rep) and the Studio Racerbacks in Menthol and Lotus Camo (up to size 10 only) They also had in the new camoish pattern pants from the post below and the Clip-in Long Sleeve and Clip-in Crops. I tried on the Long Sleeve in Alberta Lake and really liked it but I passed on it for today. I’ll be back for it though if there aren’t any other Alberta Lake tops coming.
