Fit Review: Fleece & Thank You Pullover

Fleece & Thank You Pullover

I was so excited to get the Fleece & Thank You Pullover, which is this year’s version of the Fleecing Cold Pullover with an updated fit. From the photos, I thought I would much prefer the Fleece & Thank You because the seam details gave the illusion that this was going to be a longer more flattering cut. I couldn’t have been more wrong though because the updated version fits much smaller and shorter and I had to size up to a 12 for it to fit comfortably. Not only that but this sweater has almost no stretch to it at all which makes it very difficult to pull on and off overhead. I know most people are sizing up in this one and are happy with it once the sizing is correct, but for me, I just didn’t care for it on and the deal breaker for me is how short it is. I decided to return this one immediately but now I’m hunting ebay for older Lululemon fleece items and I am reminded how much I love the Chaturanga Pullover. I got a black one in a size down from ebay last year and really love it but I’m now desperate to find the Chaturanga in my regular size for a different fit. I really hope they bring back that amazing soft, silky, sherpa faux fur fleece.

I ordered this because I love the look of the material, thinking it would be soft and stretchy. I’ve got a similar body type and that will be way way too short on me. I guess mine will be going back as well.

How disappointing that it’s so short and provides no stretch. Thanks for the fit review. My store didn’t have it in yet. One less thing on my wish list!

I think the top looks great on you.

I think it looks great but your review makes me second guess this. I wish the Don’t Hurry Be Happy would come back. Wearing mine now and it’s so warm and cozy — the perfect pullover!

I bought this yesterday. I’m glad to see it wasn’t only me who sized up! I sized up 1 or 2 sizes – also to a 12 – when I normally wear an 8 or 10 in jackets. It has no stretch at all – but I liked the cut on me and the length and the look of the fabric.

Looks nice on you! I agree with the no stretch problem. I ordered my usual size, fit comfortably- once I got it on, I had the hardest time getting it off! I hope sizing up will help getting it off easier . The other concern is the texture in the outside of the pullover- it looks like it’s prone to snagging. What did you think?

I got this and love it (wearing it now, actually)! I sized up from my usual 6 to an 8. It doesn’t have any stretch and clings to whatever you’re wearing under it- so this isn’t something I’d take on and off throughout the day. The length is fine on me, I’m just under 5’4″ with a short torso.

Yeah I have to say I love this on you- so cute and flattering! Also the color is a beautiful neutral. Seems like a great casual pullover. I’m sorry to hear it wasn’t comfortable.

I had the full zip version from last year and I love patagonia but I wasn’t inclined to buy this one because I could tell from the photos online that it would be TOO short- I’m 5’11” and lulu’s constantly shortening of their tops is really starting to annoy me

Too bad that it doesn’t have enough stretch – since that affects how comfortable it is. But, as far as how it LOOKS, it is very flattering on you. Not too short!
