I tried on the refresh maxi today; found it thinner than last year's version
I suspected as well. Most people who posted how much they love last yrs dress failed to see that this year's is a different fabric. Jmho it makes no one look good, OK maybe if you're size 2
agreed!
Just because someone may wear a size 2 or other small size definitely does not mean they don't have lumps and bumps! I wear a size 4 and am certainly not perfect. I have lumps and bumps too!
It's thinner and cheaper looking fabric for sure.
I really want the maxi dress but I know I'm going to hate it 🙁
Hahaha, this sentiment is so relatable! I feel like lately when I buy LLL I have instant buyer's remorse after ordering online, and I buy items that I want to try but that I know I'm not going to love. WHY, LLL, WHY?!
The hem line is definitely different. Last year's version was straight hem, so easy to hem up. This year's is curved at the edges, so not sure how you would hem that except to just hem straight up. Also, the back "racerback" area looks thinner, but not sure…
I have last year version and didn't have to hem it,. It was just perfect with flip flops. I'm 5"4
Really- thinner than last years?! Last years was so thin that was the reason I returned the one I had. Sad…
The price on this maxi is kind of ridiculous for being so basic, imo. Basic black and gray and a cut that you can find anywhere? Easy pass lol but I think I do actually want that hero blue sculpt tank
