Fit Review: Wunder Under Crop III Space Dye Twist Cosmic Teal Multi

by Cristina

While I’m at soccer watching my kids I thought I’d give you a quick impressions of the Space Dye Twist Cosmic Teal WUC’s. I got to try them on 10 minutes before having to rush out the door again so good thing I snapped a pick. Sorry again for the formatting of this post – it’s going up on an iPhone app.

The stripes line up perfectly front and back!! I got these in my size down (I’m dedicated dieting right now) and fully expected them to be too snug to wear right now and I was going to put them away for when they do fit. Actually, they are quite stretchy. I can see the tag a bit in a deep squat but I’m sure in my tts they’d be fully opaque. I’m not suggesting these are a size down at all because the 10’s are still ideal for me, but these are a good stretchy fit and not overly compressive.

I wish Canada had gotten the high rise because I definitely prefer that to these regular waist WU’s. I’m going to hang on to these in hopes that we get the high rise but if not, I love the color and print and definitely want to keep these.

This is what I've been curious about as well. I was hoping that was a mistake and that they would be the same as the Sapphire Twist WUC III

Thanks Lulumum! I've never tried the textured luxtreme before. May have to plan a trip to closes store soon! Hope they have some to try.

They are luxtreme but they are textured.

I was really hoping for the knit like the Navy Cyber Stripe or the Space Dye luon bottoms but these aren't bad for luxtreme. I'd probably trade them in for luon if they come in the luon high times.

My order with high-waisted Cosmic Teal WUCs came yesterday. Stripes line up as well. I have to say I had little faith for luxtreme, but it's actually a nice-feeling fabric. It's not that slick stuff they sometimes put out. No white backing. I liked my TTS 6 but I agree they are pretty stretchy so going down a size could be an option. Definitely totally opaque for me in a deep bend. The color is beautiful and fun! Definitely keepers!

Do you find the new curved waistband feels better than prior versions?

I'm not Lulumum, but I have the Sapphire Twist WUC III and personally I don't like the new waistbands. The curved out sides make the waistband a bit bigger and I find that I'm pulling them up when I never used to have to do that with the original waistbands. Maybe it's my body shape, I have bigger thighs and bum, wider set hip bones and a small waist, I have a size 2 waist (23/24") and a size 6 bum (more like 38"right now because gained a bit of weight but usually around 37") and I usually always get my pants in a size 4 from Lulu because that's the size that normally fits best, the best compromise for thighs/bum to waist for me.

I got the speed tights in the purple space dye twist that are also luxtreme. The fit and feel is awesome and the fabric is really nice and thick. I think I'm going to exchange for a solid because something about them just isn't flattering on me (maybe just not my taste).
