Thanks to Mrs. O for trying on the Adidas NMD Primeknit Shoes St. Major/Shock Pink! I have major love for Adidas sneakers.

I’ve been meaning to try on the NMD line of running shoes from Adidas, especially because you can customize them.  I received an email announcing the new colors and was drawn to this one immediately.  I liked the military green and the pop of pink.  The men’s version of the military camo is very nice as well and is a monochromatic, darker hue.  Like the UltraBOOSTs, this style never goes on sale and is excluded from promotional offers.  The base of this shoe is wider on the sides and back than the UltraBOOSTs.  I was worried it would make my already big feet look too big but it didn’t.  The sizing on this shoe is way off.  Generally, I size up in athletic shoes to a size 10.  The size 10 in these were humongous!  So, I had to get my TTS shoe size 9.  The size 9 fit like the size up.  I know a few readers have larger feet and have missed out on Stella McCartney collabs because the shoes only go to a size 10.5 but this style might work for you!  For those of you that don’t like the UltraBOOSTs because it’s too mushy for you, you may like these.  These shoes are very comfortable and have good cushioning but are less mushy than the UltraBOOSTs.  Because the base is a bit wider, there is more foot stability.  I think I could actually weight lift in these shoes.  I cannot in the UltraBOOSTs because there’s not enough side-to-side foot stability.  The sock rise around the ankle is higher than the UltraBOOST but I didn’t mind it at all.  Because the uppers are made from primeknit, it’s very breathable and unlikely to cause blisters.  If you’re interested in these shoes, definitely stay with your TTS dress shoe size.  The other gray/white color was nice too.  My only complaint about this pair is the Japanese writing on the pink stripe.  It’s there because these shoes first came out in Japan.  I can’t give you a reason why I don’t like it other than it’s a personal bias.  Maybe because I don’t know what it says and maybe because I’m Asian but not Japanese.
These too are on my wish list.  I’m going to have to keep my eye on them and may have to break my spending freeze for the tracksuit and these shoes because I fear they will sell out.  I think the men’s version already sold out but check in stores because they still had stock.
